News - updated Nov 2006 -
Hi all, well, it’s been such a busy time, recording and producing heaps of different projects. In 2006, with the help of some great people, the new studio was built (check out the ‘studio’ page for some photos and other info).
It’s an awesome facility, with a large ‘live’ room which is great for drums, guitars or vocals..some new bits of gear - I’ve aquired 2 retro mixing consoles and some new outboard gear (audio compressors) - there’s even a cafe with great coffee and lunch under the same roof!
It’s been a huge effort to get this place off the ground. Thanks to all who helped get the walls up, the electrical working and the gear in there!
Not only have I been pushing buttons, I’ve been slamming the kit, thumping the bass and noodling on the guitar for various projects - checkout the discography page.
Thanks for taking the time to have a look at the site.
regards
Phil

Hi and welcome to philgaudion.com, this has been a long time coming!
The latest news is that I've finished an instructional DVD, designed to help those playing in church with some helpful advice and played examples it is now available. It's called "tools for drumming in church" you can order the DVD if you like.
I am lining up to do a tour with Simeon (www.simeononline.com) as of March & April so checkout his site for the tour dates or my appearances page soon for those gigs. We will be playing in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland & South Australia.
I am also trying to set up some seminar / drum clinic dates that will co-incide with Simeon's tour so watch out for those here soon also.
2004 was an amazing year, I ended up recording / mixing & producing just about non-stop after the end of the pc3 "ONE" tour of Australia. Checkout the discography page for a list of the CDs & links to the bands / artists I've been working with.
This year has already had me working more in a "live" setting, doing some gigs and even live sound. I'm really excited to be getting back out & about around our awesome country, but also to continue working in the studio when it happens.
Well, thanks again for looking in, check out the other pages if you like, Phil :)
